Freelancer Policy

At Preww Media (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we are committed to collaborating with highly skilled and creative freelancers to deliver top-quality digital solutions. This Freelancer Policy governs the engagement, responsibilities, and working terms for all freelancers associated with Preww Media. By accepting any assignment or signing a contract, you (“Freelancer”, “you”, “your”) agree to abide by this policy.


1. Engagement Terms

  • Freelancers are engaged on a project basis unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.
  • There is no employer-employee relationship between Preww Media and the Freelancer.
  • Freelancers are solely responsible for tax compliance, business licenses, and statutory obligations as per applicable laws in India.

2. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure

  • All project-related information, client data, and business strategies shared by Preww Media are strictly confidential.
  • Freelancers are prohibited from sharing, disclosing, copying, or using any confidential information outside the scope of their project.
  • A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be required before the commencement of certain projects.

3. Intellectual Property & Ownership

  • Upon full payment, all creative assets, designs, codes, videos, documents, and deliverables become the exclusive property of Preww Media.
  • Freelancers cannot resell, reuse, or distribute any part of the deliverables without prior written consent.
  • Preww Media reserves the right to modify, publish, and use the final deliverables in any manner deemed necessary.

4. Payment Policy

  • Payment Structure
    • Fixed Price Projects → Payment upon completion or as per agreed milestones.
    • Hourly Projects → Payment based on approved timesheets.
  • Invoicing
    • Freelancers must submit invoices with proper project details, GST (if applicable), and bank details.
  • Payment Timeline
    • Standard payment cycle: 7–15 business days after final approval of the deliverables.
  • Deductions & Holds
    • Late submissions, poor-quality work, or breach of deadlines may lead to payment deductions or delays.

5. Quality Standards & Revisions

  • Deliverables must strictly adhere to project briefs, brand guidelines, and quality benchmarks provided by Preww Media.
  • Freelancers must ensure originality and avoid using copyrighted materials without authorization.
  • Revisions:
    • Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included unless specified otherwise in the contract.
    • Additional revisions may be billed separately.

6. Communication & Deadlines

  • Freelancers must maintain active communication via email, WhatsApp, Slack, or other approved platforms.
  • All deadlines must be strictly respected unless an extension is approved in writing.
  • Failure to respond to communication for more than 48 hours without notice may lead to project reassignment.

7. Code of Conduct

  • Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions with Preww Media staff, clients, and team members.
  • Freelancers must not approach Preww Media clients directly for work or payments without prior written consent.
  • Unethical behavior, plagiarism, misconduct, or misrepresentation will result in immediate termination and possible blacklisting.

8. Tools, Assets & Access

  • Preww Media may provide project tools, licensed assets, and platform access for project execution.
  • These must be used only for assigned tasks and must not be shared with third parties.
  • Access will be revoked immediately upon project completion or termination.

9. Termination Policy

Preww Media reserves the right to:

  • Terminate a project or collaboration at any time for unsatisfactory performance, breach of deadlines, or violation of this policy.
  • Withhold payment for incomplete, rejected, or plagiarized work.
  • Blacklist freelancers from future projects for repeated violations or unethical practices.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes regarding payments, project scope, or deliverables should first be addressed internally with the assigned project manager.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting a project, signing a contract, or delivering any work for Preww Media, the Freelancer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Freelancer Policy.
